A new haircut

My granddaughter is going to high school this year, she wanted to look specially  pretty. The day before her first day of school she got a new hairstyle and she was very happy about it although her mother wasn't. She was all dressed up, make-up on her face. With  her new hairstyle she looked like a seventeen year old girl. She is in a phase where looking grown-up is important, not to mention, pretty and chic, after all this is high school. She's the granddaughter all grandmother's would love to have, I have to say I'm the lucky one. A hairstyle to any women is like changing shoes or a dress but to a growing teenager it means a lot more. It means leaving childhood behind and entering the adult world where she will have ,new things ,new faces, and new challenges. The fact is that I saw her with enthusiasm ready to face the world, whatever it might bring. I prayed  that night  God's grace would shine through her this new year in high school. Not only is she facing high school with a new hairstyle but she has the brain and the will " to not only"  survive but to become somebody important to society, to family , and God's kingdom. If u see that I'm bragging to much about her it's because the beauty inside her is way bigger than any beauty on the outside and we owe that to God.
