There are times ........

Today my friends from everywhere  made comments on the weather. We all hoped and prayed it would rain. Our grass in this part of the south is so dry, it reached the highest number of days without rain in  history.Because of the drought  ,the weather was extremely hot, more then any year I remember.There were many praying, including myself .It affect work for many, such as those in the yard cutting business. Today something amazing happened. The day started  like any other ,but I noticed the wind was blowing cool . By afternoon it started getting cloudy, just like it had  happened several times in the past two months,, but no rain. It  sprinkled a little and the wind didn't stopped. All of a sudden the most beautiful rainbow appeared across the clouded sky. It was screaming " Keep hoping ,,,for better days will come !! Several people came out to take pictures and  admire God's promise to mankind. A rainbow has the most beautiful significance since earth was created.We had rain after all the waiting and my heart rejoiced .  Even when it got dark and the rain had stopped , and the rainbow was gone, I knew God was thinking on us. There are times when I have faced hard times and I think; " it'll never end ", my Father uplifts my spirit, and reminds me that I am not alone.
